Distribution by platform type

As in previous years, the majority of local authorities (59% of cases) choose to publish their data on a portal, i.e. a site specialized in data presentation. In 36% of the cases, it is a publication via a dedicated GIS (Geographic Information System) site. That is to say a total of 95% of the situations for a publication on a specialized platform, except institutional website.

Publication on the institutional website of the municipality is rare, 5% of the cases, it is a method however adapted to small communities that want to concentrate on a few data sets and centralize their communication space.
