# Le compartimentage

Le compartimentage, carte de carrés  ou Treemap  permet de visualiser une répartition avec des aires proportionnelles aux valeurs. Ce graphique permet notamment de visualiser des hiérarchies.

Difficile à lire s’il y a des valeurs très proches et/ou de petites valeurs. Il est en revanche adapté à la représentation de catégories avec de nombreuses sous catégories. 

C'est surtout dans sa version interactive (la souris révèle les valeurs) qu'il est intéressant.
